ECO PRODUCTS

For the sake of utilizing available resources and developing our own household, we plant agricultural land on about 15 dunums of arable land.
We grow different types of vegetables, both in 4 greenhouses and on arable land. Different fruits grow on about 600 trees: apple, pear, plum, cherry, quince, peach.

1200 plantings were planted on the aronia plantation. It is processed into naturally squeezed juices and pure and blended jams with a low sugar content. It is packed in liter and half liter glass bottles and can be purchased at the price of 15,00 / 8,00 KM. Please note that aronia is grown 100% naturally, without any chemical treatment. This is one of the projects that aims at the financial stability of Fenix’s social projects, and thus, by purchasing these products, you help the work of Fenix’s public kitchen.

Aronia is a berry of great medicinal importance to the human body, with great antioxidant properties, due to its high content of anthocyanins, tannins, vitamin C and vitamin E.

Greenhouse production is an important factor in the regular supply of FENIX soup kitchens with vegetables, and 6-7 tons of various vegetable crops (peppers, tomatoes, eggplants, celery, lettuce and onions) are obtained from our greenhouses (total area of ​​700 m2) during the season.

Beneficiaries are involved in this project in accordance with their own abilities and capabilities, which is also a certain type of occupational therapy.

We use all the products for our own use, and the surplus is intended for processing and sale on the local market.

We pay special attention to our products: juices and jams. We make them with love from carefully grown varieties of fruits and aronia. Quality is our guiding principle!
